EzPaste-xl2ppt is a Metrics Institute product, a consultancy company founded and owned by Avi Benita, a leader expert in organizational measurement.

The EzPaste concept was born from a real need that aroused hundred of times when charts or tables produced in Excel had to be transferred to PowerPoint. The manual Copy/Paste operation quickly became a bottleneck in the editing process and, apart the time aspect, resulted in frequent errors and poor alignment in the slides.

A thorough search for a product that might answer the need, did not reveal any acceptable product or solution amongst the multitude  of Excel Add-ins present in the market.

The first approach was to develop home made solutions based on VBA, the application programming language supplied with Excel. For us, this approach was quite satisfactory and led to enormous productivity gains. It became a standard practice in the company.

But we quickly came to the conclusion that the approach is not practical for the common user, or even the professionals, as it required good knowledge of VBA, which is rarely the case.

So we came with the idea to package the knowledge and the tools already acquired within the company, into a utility that automates the task of pasting objects from Excel to PowerPoint. The result is EzPaste, a product  born from real needs
